After nearly 4 decades in the temporary staffing industry, Career Center Inc. (CCI) has seen and heard it all. As you can imagine we have seen some pretty interesting characters walk through our doors. And as far as heard it all, you would be hard pressed to find a reason that we have not heard as to why a temporary employee did not “show up for an appointment/assignment. For years we have also heard from our business partners as to how they feel our job must be frustrating, stressful, and thankless.
While our job at times indeed might seem frustrating and stressful, staffing can also be one of the most enjoyable jobs on Earth. It is extremely rewarding to help our business partners accomplish their goals by helping them find the people they need while, at the same time, helping great people find great jobs. At CCI we refer to finding great employees for our clients as STRIKING GOLD.
Earlier this month our temporary employee, Aquil Settles, was named by the New Jersey Staffing Alliance (NJSA) as the Temporary Employee of the Year. Aquil exemplifies what we mean by STRIKING GOLD. Over the past year Aquil has assisted several of our clients increase productivity, improve morale, and has helped them accomplish their goals.
